O TikTok sempre viraliza truques de beleza, e a tendência da vez é a técnica chamada de face taping, a dica é aplicar a fita adesiva estrategicamente no rosto (não é fita comum, e sim uma específica para o rosto) que promete levantar as áreas mais propensas as marcas de expressões, como sobrancelhas e laterais dos olhos. Maquiagem
Na maquiagem, esse truque não é novo, técnica utilizada por maquiadores há décadas, é utilizada para esse lifting instantâneo na região das sobrancelhas e pescoço. A fita fica escondida, então é impossível ver esse truque em fotos e vídeos.
Originou-se da maquiagem editorial, que utiliza o método de efeitos temporários para alterar a expressão de modelos na frente da câmera.
