Nesta quinta-feira (3), Gwen Stefani entra para o mercado de beleza e lança sua primeira marca de maquiagem, GXVE. Os fãs ficaram ansiosos pela estreia, já que há algumas semanas a cantora fomentou as redes sociais com essa notícia. No próprio perfil do Instagram, a empresária citou: “Eu me diverti muito criando essa marca nos últimos três anos. Aqui estão algumas prévias dos bastidores… mal posso esperar para mostrar mais para vocês”.

Gwen nunca escondeu seu sonho de criar sua própria marca de beleza, especificamente de makes, mas até então, a cantora só havia feito collabs com algumas marcas. Como em 2016, ela e a Urban Decay se uniram para o lançamento de uma coleção exclusiva de produtos de maquiagem. Agora em 2022, GXVE criou forma.
GXVE se pronuncia “give” e de acordo com ela: “GXVE é um aceno para o compartilhamento interminável de inspiração dentro de nossa comunidade de amantes de maquiagem – celebrando a criatividade e a individualidade de cada um. Criamos looks para nos expressar, aprender uns com os outros e levar isso conosco. Esse é o dar e receber desta comunidade.” O nome da marca foi inspirado em como a cantora assina seu nome desde o ensino médio.
É notável que em todos os detalhes a cantora quis trazer sua personalidade para a marca. A linha é composto por oito produtos, há quatro paletas de sombra com cores cintilantes e opacas, delineador preto e azul, lápis de sobrancelha, lápis de olhos, primer, e especificamente nas texturas líquidas e em pastas o batom vermelho, pois é uma marca registrada da cantora, ela sempre usou nos anos 90 quando participava da banda de rock.

Até o momento, os produtos estão à venda exclusivamente online, somente a partir do dia 10/03 os cosméticos chegam às lojas da Sephora dos Estados Unidos, entre os valores de US$ 21 e US$ 48.
