William Bonner, mais conhecido por ser âncora do Jornal Nacional, da Rede Globo, subiu as escadas do Museu de Arte da Philadelphia ao estilo do boxeador mais famoso da história do cinema, Rocky Balboa, reproduzindo a cena icônica protagonizada por Sylvester Stallone, em Rocky: Um Lutador, vencedor do Oscar de Melhor Filme em 1976.
No início do mês de abril, William Bonner afastou-se da bancada do JN para curtir férias com Natasha Dantas, atual esposa.E a partir do dia 11, passou a ser substituído por Heraldo Pereira, que também atua na filial, Globo News, e que hoje apresenta o Tele Jornal ao lado de Renata Vasconcellos.

Muitas pessoas vão até Nova York só para ir à Philadelphia, subir os 72 degraus das escadas do Museu de Arte, em memória das cenas de treinamento do personagem Rocky – interpretado por Sylvester Stallone – para o primeiro filme da franquia de sucesso que começou em 1975, com Rocky: Um Lutador. No ano seguinte, o longa-metragem desbancaria produções que já se tornaram filmes “cults”, tais como: “Taxi Driver“, e “Todos os Homens do Presidente“, e faturou a estatueta de Oscar de Melhor Filme. Atualmente também acontecem corridas na região, sendo o topo da escadaria, a linha de chegada.
