A terceira temporada de The Witcher ainda nem estreou e já promete grandes emoções para o público. De acordo com a criadora e showrunner da série, Lauren Hissrich, Geralt terá uma despedida heroica adaptada a trama. As mudanças ocorrem após Henry Cavill anunciar em outubro deste ano que deixaria de interpretar o personagem tão aclamado.
A terceira temporada irá abordar os eventos de “Tempo e Desprezo”, quarta produção na saga do autor Andrzej Sapkowski. Apesar de não ter sido elaborada com essa ideia, abordar o lado heroico do personagem foi uma forma encontrada para se despedir de Cavill e dar as boas vinda para o novo interprete do mesmo. Em suas redes sociais o ator fez uma bela homenagem se despedindo do bruxo.

A terceira temporada da série já foi gravada, mas não tem previsão para o lançamento na Netflix e pouco se sabe sobre os novos episódios.Com base no que já assistimos nas primeiras temporadas, Geralt, Ciri e Yennefer vão para a fortaleza protegida de Aretuza para tentar descobrir mais coisas sobre os poderes da menina, mas acabam em uma em meio a corrupções políticas, magias sombrias e traição. São muitas as especulações sobre essa nova temporada, teremos que esperar para descobrir.
Enquanto isso o spin-off de The Witcher: A Origem, que explora uma história perdida no tempo e a origem do primeiro bruxo, tem previsão de lançamento no dia 25 de dezembro, também na plataforma de streaming.
