Em uma entrevista para a revista Allure dada por Bella em 2018, ela explicou ter escolhido escurecer suas madeixas, para se diferenciar do tom angelical adotado por sua irmã Gigi Hadid e admitiu possuir uma personalidade mais “obscura” que a de sua irmã.
No final do ano passado Bella Hadid se tornou um dos assuntos mais comentados na internet durante a semana de moda, por protagonizar uma performance para a marca Coperni, onde um vestido foi criado em volta de seu corpo na passarela utilizando um spray, o momento foi apontado por internautas como um momento que irá entrar para a história da moda.
Em março do ano passado, Bella Hadid fez sua estreia como atriz na série “Ramy”, disponibilizada pela plataforma de streaming Hulu, a série narra as vivências da primeira geração de uma família egípcia que imigrou para os Estados Unidos, em uma entrevista para a revista GQ Bella falou sobre o seu desejo de se aproximar da cultura Palestina, “Eu estava com meu lado palestino (da família em Washington).”, disse a modelo, filha do magnata palestino Mohamed Hadid, “E eu fui retirada disso quando nos mudamos para a Califórnia”.
