Durante o último dia da semana de moda de Londres, que ocorreu na última terça-feira (21), o designer de moda ucrâniano, Ivan Frolov, aproveitou o evento para chamar a atenção para a iniciativa “United24”, iniciativa do presidente ucrâniano Valodymir Zelensky, que permite que pessoas de todo o mundo doem para o país.
Além de entrar na passarela carregando uma bandeira da Ucrânia com o nome da organização estampada, o designer usou uma camiseta preta com as cores da bandeira do país em seu peito.
“aproveitando todas as oportunidades para mostrar que não há nada impossível para os ucranianos e iremos seguir lutando e fazendo o que podemos até à vitória!”, escreveu o estilista natural de Kiev,compartilhando em seu perfil no Instagram uma reportagem da TV Inglesa mostrando o seu protesto.

Este ano, foi a estreia da grife de Ivan, criada em 2014, na semana de moda londrina. Na época do lançamento de sua grife, na semana de moda da Ucrânia,Ivan foi apontado pela Vogue ucrâniana, como estilista mais promissor do país.
No site de sua grife, é possível ler a frase: “ucraniano no coração, no corpo, no sangue”,que é representada de maneira visual em sua coleção de outono/inverno 2023,apresentada na semana de moda de Londres 2023, que contou com roupas de festa com um recorte em formato de coração.
“Eu pensei em como o coração é algo que me envolve. Eu continuo usando esse símbolo como um elemento nas roupas. É algo que eu gosto muito, que você precisa ouvir o seu coração”, explica o designer.

Não é a primeira vez que Ivan Frolov usa a moda como maneira de lutar contra a guerra que aflige seu país natal. O estilista foi responsável por vestir Beyoncé, durante uma apresentação da diva em Dubai, em janeiro deste ano, a cantora se apresentou com um vestido cor de rosa que foi confeccionado pela equipe do designer em Kiev na Ucrânia.
Para Ivan Frolov, é importante continuar criando suas peças na ucrânia, para continuar movimentando a ecônomia no país durante a crise provocada pela guerra.
