Após show com polemicas, Frank Ocean será substituído por blink-182 no festival Coachella 2023. O cantor era o principal nome da line up que também contava com a cantora islandesa Björk e o Dj americano Porter Robson.

Frank Ocean, autor de músicas como “Provider”, “Lost” e “Pink+White”, já havia se apresentado para o público da Califórnia no último domingo (16), o show foi marcado por atrasos, uso de playback e por um show curto onde Frank não teria tocado algumas de suas faixas mais famosas, o cantor ainda não teria autorizado que seu show fosse transmitido no YouTube. Através de uma nota emitida no dia de ontem (19) no portal TMZ, o seu representante afirma que Frank não voltará ao palco do festival para a segunda semana, por motivos médicos. O cantor teria sofrido duas fraturas e um entorse em seu calcanhar e que não estaria apto a fazer novas performances nas próximas duas semanas. Na nota ainda constava que o show teve que ser reformulado 72 horas antes da apresentação. Frank estava há seis anos sem se apresentar. Frank ainda disse ao portal: ‘Foi caótico. Existe uma beleza no caos. Não foi o que eu tinha intenção de apresentar, mas eu me diverti estando lá e nos veremos em breve’

Para o lugar do artista, a banda dos anos 90 e inico dos anos 2000, que tem como sucessos as músicas “All the small Things” e “Whats my age again”, Blink-182 se apresentará. A banda contará com a sua formação clássica para o festival. A banda que cancelou seu show no Lollapalooza Brazil 2023, por conta de uma fratura no dedo de Travis Barker, baterista da banda. E que na ocasião foi foram substituídos por Twenty One Pilots.
A banda se apresentará no próximo Domingo dia 23 de abril.
