A cantora Elis Regina faria 78 anos hoje (17). Em homenagem à data, a gravadora Som Livre liberou nas plataformas de streaming o álbum “Trem Azul”, gravado ao vivo no Palácio de Convenções do Anhembi, em 1981. A turnê foi a última apresentação da vida da artista, que morreu três meses depois da gravação.
A turnê “Trem Azul” foi a primeira sem a direção do ex-marido e pianista César Camargo Mariano após a separação do casal. A gravação do show foi feita em fita-cassete, diretamente na mesa de som, pois não havia pretensão comercial. Posteriormente, “Trem Azul” foi o primeiro álbum de Elis lançado em formato físico, e obteve vendas de 120 mil cópias, garantindo a ela um disco de ouro.
Segundo a gerente comercial da empresa, Daniela Barcellos, “houve uma remasterização das 25 faixas para fazer justiça ao trabalho de Elis.” O relançamento é parte da campanha (Re)Descubra da Som Livre, que recupera e relança o acervo da gravadora. “Havia uma preocupação de que o álbum não caísse em esquecimento, era preciso mostrar esse disco para as novas gerações. O álbum ‘Trem Azul’ é um produto precioso do catálogo da Som Livre e é uma honra para nós poder prestar essa homenagem presenteando o público com o disco disponível pela primeira vez no streaming. Outros conteúdos multimídia serão feitos paralelamente ao lançamento do álbum, para o YouTube, Instagram e TikTok”.
Em julho de 2020, o perfil oficial da cantora no Instagram compartilhou diversas lembranças da turnê, com fotos de Elis no palco e de cartazes do espetáculo.

O produtor João Marcello Bôscoli, primogênito da cantora e entusiasta da divulgação do trabalho da mãe às novas gerações, não esteve envolvido na remasterização. Ao Estadão, ele disse ter confiança no processo técnico realizado. “Prescindiu da minha participação na construção dessa agenda de trabalho técnico – um direito da empresa responsável e que não tem problema nenhum. Ressalto ter confiança nos critérios artísticos e técnicos dos profissionais envolvidos e desejo o melhor lançamento possível, reforçando haver entre os herdeiros de Elis Regina e a Som Livre uma relação saudável há mais de 40 anos.”

“Trem Azul” traz faixas como “Aprendendo a Jogar”, de Guilherme Arantes, e “Maria Maria”, de Milton Nascimento, que já estavam no streaming em outras interpretações de Elis. “Lança Perfume”, de Rita Lee e Roberto de Carvalho, e “Menino do Rio”, de Caetano Veloso, porém, estão disponíveis pela primeira vez na voz da cantora.
