A música viralizou pelo país e fez o cantor elevar sua carreira em muitos aspectos. “Idiota” alcançou a 12º posição no Spotify Brasil com 541 mil reproduções, sendo a primeira música do cantor a atingir tal feito.

Por trás de seu nome artístico, João Vitor Romania Balbino, nasceu em Américo Brasiliense e se mudou há 10 anos para a capital do estado de São Paulo para fazer Publicidade e Propaganda na USP, mas desistiu e resolveu investir na carreira de cantor, chegando até a cantar em bares para conseguir dinheiro.
Hoje, aos 27 anos, o cantor lotou todos os shows de sua turnê. E foi uma das atrações mais comentadas do Lollapalooza. Ele possui outros dois álbuns chamados “Lobos” e “Anti-Herói”, porém foi com “Pirata” sua verdadeira ascensão para o Brasil e não apenas para um determinado público.

Sua turnê contabilizou um público de aproximadamente 97.528 pessoas. Em 2019, o cachê do cantor era de R$ 90 mil. Esse valor sofreu o aumento de 288%, atualmente o cantor fatura em média R$ 350 mil.
Nesta quinta-feira (24), o cantor anunciou seus últimos 2 shows e está encerrando esse ciclo de sua carreira. Na publicação ele diz: “Turnê Pirata está chegando ao fim. Espero te ver lá pra essas duas últimas datas.”
