Pitty e Queens of the Stone tocarão no “The Town”

O The Town anunciou ontem (4) duas novas atrações do festival, que ocorrerá em setembro no Autódromo de Interlagos, em São Paulo. A cantora brasileira Pitty e a banda norte-americana Queens of the Stone tocarão no Palco Skyline no dia 9.

Os artistas comentaram o anúncio em seus perfis do Instagram. Pitty escreveu: “emoção define! orgulho de estar nesse line up; e a instiga de preparar um show exclusivo para esse dia. começando a criar em 3, 2, 1…”.

As apresentações anunciadas ocorrerão no mesmo dia dos shows de Foo Fighters e Garbage.

O New Dance Order, espaço eletrônico do festival, também recebeu o anúncio de atrações ontem. 30 apresentações ocorrerão nos cinco dias de festival, como de Tropkillaz e Badsista com Marina Lima.

O The Town é produzido pelos mesmos organizadores do Rock in Rio, e terá sua primeira edição nos dias 2, 3, 7, 9 e 10 de setembro. Uma área de 360 mil metros quadrados será montada na Zona Sul de São Paulo, para receber o evento, que pretende ser “o maior festival de música, cultura e arte de São Paulo”. A chamada Cidade da Música será dividida em diversos espaços: o palco Skyline, o palco New Dance Order, o palco The One, a área Factory, a São Paulo Square e a Market Square.

O palco Skyline terá quatro shows e uma queima de fogos a cada dia, enquanto o palco New Dance Order será o espaço para apresentações de DJs e o palco The One receberá shows diversos. A área Factory trará à Cidade da Música referências da história das zonas industriais de São Paulo, com influência da arte urbana, do hip-hop e da street dance. A São Paulo Square terá elementos atuais da cidade, com quiosque, jardins e jazz, visando “celebrar a São Paulo de ontem e de hoje”, conforme o site do evento. Por fim, a Market Square será voltada para a gastronomia, e terá menus desenvolvidos exclusivamente para o evento.

Post Malone, Alok, Maroon 5, Ludmilla, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Iza, Luisa Sonza e Ne Yo são outros artistas já confirmados no festival.

O The Town Card, primeiro lote de ingressos do festival, teve vendas esgotadas em poucas horas em 14 de março. Mais ingressos estarão a venda a partir de 18 de abril, às 19h.
