Anderson Torres, ministro da Justiça, afirmou nesta sexta-feira (28) que em relação à segurança, o país está pronto para o segundo turno das eleições. “O Brasil está pronto para o segundo turno das eleições no que diz respeito à segurança”.
A assertiva do ministro foi feita na reativação do Centro Integrado de Controle e Comando Nacional (CICCN), onde será monitorado em tempo real todas as ocorrências envolvendo as eleições do próximo domingo (30).
“O objetivo é manter a tranquilidade no dia das eleições e garantir que o povo brasileiro exerça livremente o direito do voto”, explicou Anderson Torres.
Em todo o país, cerca de 500 mil agentes de segurança estão envolvidos no processo eleitoral, de acordo com o ministro. E ele ressaltou que o foco está voltado principalmente no combate a dois crimes eleitorais que chamaram atenção no primeiro turno: a boca de urna e compra de votos.
Outro fator que será monitorado são as decisões judiciais de oferta de transporte público gratuito em alguns municípios durante o dia de votação. A segurança nas ruas e no entorno dos prédios públicos no pós-eleição será responsabilidade das polícias estaduais, informou Torres.
“Estão preparadas. E poderemos dar apoio, com o emprego da Força Nacional de Segurança, por exemplo, às solicitações que recebermos para conter tumultos ou qualquer outra ação dessa natureza. Mas a princípio não há essa demanda”.
O Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública coordenou a Operação Eleições 2022 que registrou 1.634 ocorrências de crimes eleitorais no primeiro turno.

Foram 444 flagrantes de boca de urna, 198 de compra e/ou venda de votos e 76 violações do sigilo da urna, e R$10 milhões em dinheiro foram apreendidos, além de 441 pessoas presas.
Integrantes do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), Polícia Federal (PF), da Agência Brasileira de Inteligência (Abin) e da Defesa Civil fazem parte do Centro Integrado de Comando e Controle Nacional (CICCN), além representantes da segurança pública dos 26 estados e do Distrito Federal.

Para o segundo turno o número 191 estará disponível para ajudar a combater os crimes eleitorais e pode ser usado para realizar denúncias envolvendo o pleito. A ligação não tem custo e funciona 24 horas por dia.
