“Dê um trocado para o seu bruxo, ó Vale Abundante”. A tarde desta terça-feira (25) começou com um misto de emoções para os fãs da série “The Witcher”. Netflix divulga o teaser da terceira temporada da série com data de lançamento marcada, no entanto, para a tristeza de alguns fãs, essa será a última vez que o ator Henry Cavill irá interpretar o Geralt de Rivia, confira o teaser.

De acordo com a plataforma de streaming, o seriado será lançado em duas partes. O primeiro volume, composto por 5 episódios, vai estrear dia 29 de junho, enquanto a sequência, contendo os últimos 3 episódios, será disponibilizado dia 27 de julho. Enquanto isso, os fãs da série aguardam fervorosamente pelas aventuras do Bruxo de Rivia, bem como a despedida do ator Henry Cavill, que fará sua última aparição na série. Além dele, o elenco também conta com grandes nomes, como Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan e Joey Batey.
Em 2022, Henry Cavill anunciou através do Instagram que deixaria a série, e revelou que o ator Liam Hemsworth, da franquia “Jogos Vorazes”, assumiria o papel. Na ocasião, Cavill não revelou as razões por trás de sua decisão de sair da série, mas os internautas especularam que a agenda lotada do ator pode ter sido um fator contribuinte. Na época, Cavill também estava interpretando o papel do herói Superman no universo da DC Comics, mas essa hipótese não foi confirmada por ele.

“Minha jornada como Geralt de Rivia foi repleta de monstros e aventuras e, infelizmente, vou deixar meu medalhão e minhas espadas para a 4ª temporada. Em meu lugar, o fantástico Sr. Liam Hemsworth assumirá o manto do Branco Lobo.” anunciou Henry, se despedindo e transferindo o papel para Liam.
Liam Hemsworth também se pronunciou nas redes sociais, expressando sua felicidade em se juntar às aventuras do poderoso bruxo, além de demonstrar carinho tanto pela série quanto por Henry Cavill.

Por fim, o enredo dessa nova fase de The Witcher promete estar repleto de mistérios, magia e takes de muita ação, no qual Geralt Geralt (Henry Cavill) se une à feiticeira Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) em uma jornada perigosa para proteger Ciri(Freya Allan), a “Criança Surpresa” e ensiná-la sobre seus dons mágicos.
