O cantor Gilberto Gil (80) sofreu um ataque de brasileiros, eleitores do atual presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL), durante o jogo do Brasil contra a Sérvia, no Catar (24). No Estádio Lusail os homens que agrediram verbalmente o cantor e Flora Gil (62), sua mulher, gravaram a ação, que viralizou nas redes sociais no sábado (26).
Gil ao lado da esposa Flora, estava entrando no estádio quando alguns torcedores gritaram em tom de deboche: “Vamo, Bolsonaro […] Vamo, Lei Rouanet”. Eles então chamaram o artista para ir às cadeiras, mas o mesmo ignorou a provocação e tirou foto com um fã.
Entretando, os bolsonaristas continuaram provocando: “Vem, vem. Você ajudou o Brasil pra c… Vamo lá. Vai lá. Valeu, Lei Rouanet. Obrigado, filho da p…”. O vídeo acabou viralizando nas redes sociais.

Neste domingo (27/11), Gilberto Gil agradeceu a “corrente de solidariedade” dos amigos que ligaram e se manifestaram nas redes sociais após o episódio. “Amanhã estaremos torcendo pela seleção brasileira e por um Brasil sem ódio”, disse Gil.

A falta de respeito dos apoiadores do atual presidente gerou uma onda de críticas nas redes sociais. O deputado federal Guilherme Boulos (PSOL), criticou o episódio. “Vagabundos bolsonaristas atacaram e ofenderam Gilberto Gil no Qatar. Minha solidariedade ao mestre Gil. Vai passar!”, escreveu no Twitter.
Preta Gil (48), filha do cantor se manifestou em apoio ao pai, “O que aconteceu com meu pai e Flora no dia do jogo do Brasil no Catar, onde foram agredidos verbalmente por um bolsonarista violento é assustador”, iniou Preta, logo dizendo,”Eu e meu pai pensamos parecido a respeito de conviver com o diferente, estamos acostumados, e mais que isso, tentamos de forma muito civilizada essa convivência sem nos sentirmos ameaçados e tão pouco sem ameaçar! Por muitas vezes ocupamos os mesmos espaços que eles. Eu, meu pai ou Flora jamais em situação nenhuma, iríamos atacar ou xingar um bolsonarista gratuitamente”, explicou.
