Hoje começa a nova temporada da semana de moda de Nova York (NWFW) e o calendário foi divulgado surpreendendo a muitos com a ausência de grandes estilistas americanos. O calendário oficial foi divulgado pelo Concil of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), e conta com o retorno de alguns nomes já muito conhecidos no mundo da moda, como a Rodarte que iniciou os desfiles em Los Angeles e da inicio aos desfiles em Nova York.

O desfile não conta com alguns dos grandes nomes, mas mostra uma crescente diversidade da indústria da moda nos Estados Unidos, trazendo mais oportunidade para novas pessoas.
A abertura na agenda oficial do Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) será da Rodarte, que foi fundada pelas irmãs americanas, Kate e Laura Mulleavy.
A semana de moda em Nova York conta com alguns retornos que são Anna Sui e Thom Browne, em seu primeiro desfile desde que assumiu a presidência do CFDA. O Line Up de desfiles e presentations conta com 85 designers.
