Prepare-se para a final mais eletrizante da história do “American Idol”! A 21ª temporada do programa vai terminar em grande estilo no dia 21 de maio, com as apresentações de Kylie Minogue, Ellie Goulding, Pitbull e da jurada Katy Perry. A cerimônia será transmitida pelo canal ABC dos Estados Unidos.
Além das estrelas já anunciadas, a final da temporada do show de talentos também vai contar com as performances de TLC, James Blunt, Jazmine Sullivan e Keith Urban.
O apresentador Ryan Seacrest e os jurados Katy Perry, Lionel Richie e Luke Bryan vão acompanhar tudo de perto e dar seus comentários sobre os finalistas. Vale lembrar que Katy Perry causou polêmica no programa ao vivo do dia 17 de abril, quando foi vaiada por criticar a candidata Nutsa Buzaladze, uma das preferidas do público.

Os outros jurados tentaram amenizar o clima e a imprensa internacional reagiu ao episódio. Os três finalistas que disputam o título de American Idol são Iam Tongi, Megan Danielle e Colin Stough.
Eles foram definidos pelo voto popular entre os 20 candidatos que participaram da etapa ao vivo do programa. No dia 14 de maio, os participantes fizeram performances de músicas da Disney e os finalistas foram revelados no término do programa.

Durante a temporada, eles demonstraram suas habilidades em diversos estilos musicais, como pop, rock, soul, country e rap. Os participantes ambém tiveram a oportunidade de aprender com os jurados e com artistas convidados, como Demi Lovato e Usher.
O prêmio para o vencedor do “American Idol” é um contrato com uma gravadora e um cheque de 250 mil dólares. Além disso, o ganhador também terá a chance de se apresentar em grandes eventos musicais e se tornar uma estrela reconhecida mundialmente.
A final do “American Idol” revelará quem será o novo ídolo da música americana. No Brasil, o programa será exibido pelo canal Sony, às 22h.
