As performances acontecem nos dias 28 e 29 de outubro, no River Plate Stadium. E seria impossível o Brasil ser deixado de fora depois do carinho que todos receberam pela banda. O show será transmitido nos cinemas das redes Cinemark, UCI Orient, Cinépolis, Playarte e outros de uma lista extensa. Logo depois de sua performance no Rock in Rio, a banda seguiu turnê para outros países da América Latina. Contudo, eles retornam em outubro para vários shows. Ao todo, serão seis shows em São Paulo nos dias 15, 16, 18, 19, 21 e 22 no Allianz Parque e dois no Rio de Janeiro nos dias 11 e 12 no Engenhão.
Coldplay atingiu um ponto em sua carreira que seus shows são uma experiência de vida. Muitos fãs possuem histórias por trás de suas músicas e anseiam por um dia, estarem em seu show. Foi o caso de Guilherme Frem, que compartilhou sua história emocionante de superação contra um câncer.

O jovem de 20 anos, contou a importância da música “Viva La Vida” em sua vida e como ter ido ao Rock in Rio foi a realização de um sonho e uma experiência gratificante.
