Após Anitta (29) e Pedro Sampaio (24) serem confirmados na atração, a participação de Ivete Sangalo (50) é dada como certa, segundo o Jornalista Leo Dias. A festa que reúne celebridades e influenciadores digitais é realizada desde 2017. Além de famosos, pessoas anônimas podem concorrer a ingressos para o evento. Nas edições anteriores, a comemoração foi feita em um resort em João Pessoa, na Paraíba. Entretanto, na pandemia, o local fechou as portas. Por isso, em 2021, Gkay escolheu um hotel de luxo no Bairro Moura Brasil, em Fortaleza.
Chamando atenção pelas particularidades, a farofa que a anfitriã proporcionou aos convidados, desde o convite, enviados em sacos de lixo, a um avião fretado com capacidade para 216 passageiros, para levar os escolhidos de Gkay. Em 2022 terá um investimento de cerca de R$ 8 milhões, segundo a influenciadora.

A festa de aniversário da blogueira, será transmitida ao vivo pelo canal Multishow e pelo Globoplay.
“Você vai poder acompanhar tudo, os bastidores, os bafos, os shows. E falando em show, Pedro Sampaio é presença garantida”, comentou Gkay.
Na última edição, em recorde, Gkay revelou que gastou praticamente R$ 3 milhões com o evento, quando esperava não passar do R$ 1,5 milhão.
“A Farofa já deixou de ser evento desde a última edição, no mínimo. Hoje as pessoas têm interesse de estar lá para aparecer, serem vistas como convidadas, compartilham o convite, que por si só já é um case de ação de marketing, como foi esse ano imitando a bolsa em forma de saco de lixo da Balenciaga”, declara a influenciadora.
Neste ano, vai ser nos dias 5, 6 e 7 de dezembro em Fortaleza (CE), com três dias de shows musicais.
