Cinzinato Diniz, pai de Gabriel Diniz, irá realizar uma missa para relembrar o terceiro ano de morte do cantor. Em sua conta oficial do Instagram, postou uma foto em que mostra o artista com asas de anjo com informações do evento. A missa ocorrerá no dia 27/05 e tem início previsto para às 18h, será transmitida no canal de Gabriel no YouTube.

“Convidamos todos os amigo familiares e fãs do Gabriel Diniz a assistir a missa de três anos de sua partida, que será realizada no dia 27 às 18:00 na paróquia Santana de São Joaquim, bairro dos Estados. Também será transmitida pelo YouTube do Gabriel. Grato a todos por até hoje manterem a memória do meu filho sempre em evidência, pois sei que ele vive e se alegra com tantas demonstração de carinho que recebe diariamente. Tudo só acontece porque Deus todo poderoso permite, e se ele permite é porque é bom. Resta a nós compreender e aceitar pela fé, pois só ela nos resgata da dor e sofrimento. Em Deus renovamos nossa força e a fé”, dizia a publicação no Instagram.
Além da publicação, Cinzinato postou a imagem de uma carta que escreveu para o filho, no cartão havia escrito: “Ao meu amigo mais querido”. Compartilhou também um pouco de como era o quarto de Gabriel, com quadros do cantor, livros e instrumentos musicais.

O cantor morreu em um acidente aéreo no dia 27 de maio de 2019, depois que o monomotor em que estava com mais dois tripulantes, caiu dentro de um mangue na região de Porto do Mato, em Estância, no sul de Sergipe. Segundo a Polícia Militar, Linaldo Xavier e Abraão Farias, pilotos e diretores do Aeroclube de Alagoas, também estavam no voo e não resistiram ao acidente. Amigos do cantor estiveram no local e reconheceram o corpo do artista.
